Anas Alsheikh is a capital markets and corporate lawyer with over 20 years of experience in regulatory matters, M&A, joint ventures (JV), private equity (PE), investment funds, and IPOs in Saudi Arabia.

He previously held senior positions including Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Tourism, Chief Regulatory Officer at Tadawul, General Counsel and Head of Compliance at Jadwa Investment, Counsel at Clifford Chance, and Manager of the Rules and Regulations Department at the Capital Market Authority (CMA).

Anas has advised on major transactions in Saudi Arabia, including Jadwa’s role in relation to the Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib IPO, as well as the Private Sector Partnership Reinforcement Program (Shareek), supporting its first investment wave valued at SAR 192 billion involving Aramco, ACWA Power, SABIC, STC, Advanced, and Zain. He has also advised on transactions such as the Edmond de Rothschild JV with Pinnacle and the restructuring of Saudi Chemical Company.

His regulatory experience includes drafting key CMA and Tadawul regulations, including the Rules on the Offer of Securities and Continuing Obligations, the Listing Rules, Authorized Persons Regulations, Securities Business Regulations, Market Conduct Regulations, and Investment Funds Regulations.

He holds extensive experience advising on and developing regulatory frameworks for capital markets in Saudi Arabia.
